Term 3 — Much to Celebrate

As Term 3 comes to a close, there’s so much to celebrate. This term has been filled with wonderful opportunities for our community to come together, including the Book Week Parade, Father’s Day Afternoon, and STEM Night. Our students have also had the chance to shine through various events such as the ICAS and Aust Maths Competitions, Hoop Time, AFL 9s, 5/6 Netball, and Gray Street’s Got Talent. We also introduced two exciting new events to our calendar this year, the Trivia Night and Readathon, both of which were highly successful and helped raise an incredible $6,000 for our school community. Thank you to everyone for your support and involvement this term. Each of these events provided opportunities to build and strengthen relationships, one of our school values.  We look forward to more relationship building activities in Term 4 through our camping program.

Early Next Term

Camp and Camp Recovery Days

As the new term begins, we’re excited for our much-anticipated school camps!

  • Week 2: Grade 3/4 students will head to Warrnambool for a two-night camp.
  • Week 3: Grade 5/6 students will spend two nights at Kangaroobie.
  • Week 3: Grade 2’s will spend a night at Port Fairy, after they spend the day with the Grade 1’s  in Warrnambool
  • Week 3: Grade 1s will enjoy a day trip to Warrnambool

This year, we’re trialling a Camp Recovery Day for Grade 3-6 students, the day following their camp. On this day, no official classes will be held, and students are encouraged to take a rest before returning to school on the Friday. The Recovery Day not only provides a much-needed break but also helps the school acquit Time in Lieu accrued by staff during camp, ensuring minimal disruption to our learning program in Term 4.
