There is a great family day trip destination – The Redwood Forest in Warburton
It is wonderful that Playgroup is back. It is so lovely to see the kids' smiling faces. They dove straight back into the activities that they love, with art, fuzzy felt and the doll house, to name a few.
There are great benefits to Playgroup for both the children and their adults; we have seen it for many years now. The kids form friendships with other children that they are likely to start Foundation with, learn to play alongside peers, and enjoy the many activities on offer. The adults have other people that are in the same life place as them - who better to understand the joys and difficulties of being a parent? - as well as getting to know and build friendships with families that are, or may be, part of the Scoresby PS community.
We would love to see more families at Playgroup. This is a free, facilitated playgroup that is available to the Scoresby PS community and families outside of the school – all are welcome.
