Why Volunteers Are Important During Floods, Fires and Droughts- Macie Watson

This is a call to action. During the most devastating times volunteers are most needed. The world needs brave and courageous people, and what better way to do it then be volunteers. Think about it, volunteers risk their lives for others, becoming the hero's. Wouldn't you love to be a hero for once?

During floods, fires and droughts, it's a volunteers' time to shine and be in the spotlight. Have you ever been in the spotlight? Doesn't it just feel great? Well, that's what it's like for volunteers. To be shining under the bright spotlight of greatness, and it could be you.

Why Volunteers Are Important- Sam Pope

Imagine your town or city is experiencing a devastating natural disaster whether it is floods, fires or anything of that sort but the emergency services are all busy helping other people and you are in need of dire help. Well look no further than volunteers. Volunteers can come in all forms whether it is helping out firefighters or just cleaning out the back of your cupboard and donating non perishables to people that are in crisis and need all the help they can get from others. Volunteers are the biggest source of help in natural disasters and after natural disasters by cleaning up and searching for people who could be trapped or looking for those who didn't make it, but volunteers don't just help out emergency services because most emergency personnel are volunteers that specialize in almost all fields of specialty. If you are in rural areas that are far away from civilization you don't have to just wait for hours until your desired service arrives because you probably have a volunteer crew nearby that is waiting to go help others.
