Performing Arts

This term in Performing Arts, we are focusing on music! 

Students will explore a variety of fun and engaging activities designed to develop their musical skills. Students have started the year by experimenting with different ways to make music using their voices, bodies and instruments. They have had a go at playing the tambourines, drums, xylophones, and maracas and have explored using their bodies to clap, stomp and tap to different rhythms. 

Over the next few weeks, students will practise learning simple songs and melodies, using both traditional and unconventional instruments to create fun rhythms and sounds. We will continue to explore and enjoy making music with a variety of instruments, and students will have opportunities to perform and share their creations with the class.
