Junior School Book Week Dress Up Day
As a part of our Book Week celebrations, we will be inviting the boys to dress up on Friday 25 August. A Book Week Parade will be held at 9.00 am. Parents/carers are welcome to attend on the Futsal Court.
Please note that Prep and Year 1 students should wear their costumes to and from school; boys in Year 3-6 are to wear their full PE uniform to school and change into their costume once they arrive at school.
Boys who play football on Fridays are to bring their footy gear. There are no Friday activities for other students.
Junior School Father's Day Breakfast
The P&F Association warmly invite you to the Father's Day Breakfast on Thursday 31 August commencing at 7.30 am. Please note this was originally advertised as Friday 1 September. An RSVP is required for those wishing to attend; a revised notice was sent by EdSmart on 10 August.
If Dad is unable to attend, boys are encouraged to bring along their grandfather, older brother, uncle or special family friend.
In conjunction with our Father’s Day Breakfast, the P&F will be selling football margin tickets for the AFL Grand Final. Margin tickets will be $20 each. Anyone who has the winning margin at the end of the AFL Grand Final will win $400. If you have the margin at quarter time, half time or three-quarter time you will win $50. With all tickets sold, the P&F will raise $1,450. Cash and card will be accepted on the day if you wish to take part.
An event for Kindergarten families will be on Wednesday 30 August and has been communicated separately.
Choomalaka Festival & Feast
The whole College community will be immersed in the Virgilian spirit on Friday 22 September with plenty to see, eat and do at the Austins Ferry campus! Starting at 5.30 pm, a program will be released closer to the event so you can plan your visit. A large variety of food stalls and food vans will be available thanks to the coordination of our Parents & Friends Association.
