Taking action against Plastic Waste

On a recent family holiday to Queensland, Isla Varley (2CT) visited a cafe for lunch. Even though her family had sat down to eat their lunch in the cafe, their food came in plastic take away containers! So much PLASTIC! Isla felt the need to take action.

Drawing on her knowledge from Grade 2’s Integrated Studies unit ‘War on Waste’ Isla was equipped with the facts and decided to write the cafe a letter.
