Learning Community 3

 Work is well underway in our Earn and Learn program, with students preparing themselves to start trading this week. Our banks are up and running, business have been registered, loans applied for and products have been created. This is an important part of the Maths curriculum and provides students with an opportunity to learn some financial maths in a more meaningful way. We are looking forward to the next stage of the program. 

Parents are invited to our final trading session on Tuesday 12th September from 9.15 to 10.15am. We hope to see you there.

  After revisiting persuasive writing last week, we have moved on to creating our own poetry anthology. We have started by creating some Haiku poems and have been very impressed by the results! 

It was great to see everyone dressed up for book week, we love the spirit of our team! 

Well done to our hard working Junior Red Cross crew who facilitated the parade and led the school community in this fabulous annual event. Great work everyone!
