About the Lindfield Art Show & Fair

The History

In 1976, the wonderful parents of Holy Family Catholic Primary School organised a fundraiser centred around an exhibition of art. Over the years this became the most anticipated event on the school calendar. 

As time progressed the art continued to remain the focus but there were also book stalls, homemade delights and handmade treasures added. All items were donated or handmade with love by the wonderful school community and parish.

Now, 47 years later the Lindfield Art Show & Fair is still running and is an essential thread in the fabric of our community. This event brings together artists, families and local businesses, creating a tapestry of creativity, connection and community spirit. 

All funds raised from the Lindfield Art Show & Fair go towards enhancing the learning experiences and co-curricular activities for the students at Holy Family Catholic Primary School.

The Lindfield Art Show

The weekend will begin with our Art Show opening night on Friday 1st September. We welcome everyone to purchase tickets to the Gala Event here. Tickets to the Art Gala will give you the opportunity to be one of the first to view and purchase from a range of quality artworks on display. 

There will be live music from Over & Out (with Holy Family dad Alejandro Gonzalez at the drums) and delicious food and drink courtesy of Foodz by ML!The Art Show will continue over the weekend with free entry.

The Lindfield Fair

On Saturday  2nd September our school grounds play host to a wonderful array of fair activities from the kindy petting farm, to kids crafts and activities, BBQ, coffee and cake stalls to inflatable fun and challenges.  We will have performances throughout the day from local dance, music and drama clubs as well as our school band.  And of course the Art Show will be open for you to peruse the works and enjoy some goods from local businesses in our market stalls.  It promises to be an unforgettable weekend and we are looking forward to seeing our school community get behind this event in any way they can. 

International Food

This year our traditional sausage sizzle BBQ is extending to include some yummy international cuisine from our school community.  If you are a keen chef and want to help cook up some delicious international dishes to be served please reach out to Di Sun (Y5/KG) who is our Head Chef of International Cuisine.  With the likes of dim sum, bulgogi and more already suggested for the menu it promises to be a real treat!
