Book Parade

Our students had fun dressing up as their favourite book character!

The Village & Peter Rabbit

This year the Village was lucky enough to adopt Peter Rabbit as the class pet. To thank the Alice Springs Animal Shelter for Peter and to help give back to the community, we had a bake sale to raise money for them. The school raised over $600 for the shelter and made a card to show them how much we love Peter!  Thanks to all the parents, teachers and students involved! Such a great result.

Foundation & Old Timers

This term the Foundation class has continued their fortnightly visits to Old Timers. This week we decorated door hangers with the residents and sang a few songs at the end. It is always great to see our children interacting with the older residents and seeing them enjoying themselves. The benefits of these interactions are very rewarding for both the child and the older adult.
