Communication at Belmore
Next week is Speech Pathology week! The theme for this year is ‘Communicating for Life’ highlighting communication challenges across the lifespan and how speech pathologists are involved in supporting people of all ages.
Here at Belmore School, we are celebrating Speech Pathology week by holding a silent morning tea. This will highlight what our student’s go through on a daily basis and the impact it has on their daily functioning and how important it is for students to have access to a communication system at all times.
Speech Pathology Australia are also running a competition to recognise a super certified speech pathologist. You can nominate your favourite speechie via the Speech Pathology Australia Facebook page.
