Principals' Day
Principals' Day 4th August
Every year the whole school takes some time to celebrate Principals’ Day and this year was particularly important as we acknowledged the amazing efforts that have been made by our Acting Principal Amanda White.
Since stepping into the role of Principal quite quickly there have been many things to learn and Amanda has managed to take on all of the Belmore School responsibilities with a genuine determination to continue supporting out students to ensure continued educational excellence and improved social and emotional well-being.
The capital works project has been an added role and this has been steadily moving forward with our Principal’s leadership and close participation in all of the build activities.
There has been a sense of calm and respect from all of the staff and students at Belmore as we are reassured by knowing Amanda from her previous roles as Assistant Principal and Learning Specialist. Her dedication to the school has been evidenced across many years.
Our staff held a morning tea and students contributed to a special card and wall mural to reflect their positive feelings of support.
In true Belmore style it was a fun day of celebration. Many thanks to our wonderful Acting Principal.
