YEAR 9 KEY INFORMATION: WEEK 7
Junior Leadership Opportunities for Year 9
Next week in Social Emotional Learning (SEL), our Year 9 students will explore the concept of leadership—what it means to be a leader and how leadership can be demonstrated in everyday school life. Following this session, students will have the opportunity to apply for a Junior Leader position for the 2026 academic year. Application forms will be made available and are due by the end of Week 2, Term 4. To support students through the application process, I will be available during two lunchtime sessions: Tuesday of Week 9 (Term 3) and Tuesday of Week 2 (Term 4). These sessions will provide a chance for students to ask questions and discuss their applications in more detail.
Assessment Planners
As we approach the end of the term, I encourage families to revisit the assessment planner available on our College website. With drafts and exam preparation underway, organisation and consistent effort are key. Maintaining strong academic habits now will help ensure students finish their final year of junior studies on a positive note. As always, should you have concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to the subject teachers.
