Junior School Update

Dear Students and Families,
It’s been another busy fortnight of learning and growth in the Junior School.
In Chapel, students reflected on the connection between Creation and Spring. Mrs Doyle encouraged them to share their thoughts on the seasonal renewal of life — a reminder of the Creator’s power, love, and the promise of resurrection.
The discussion also explored how we can each care for our planet to ensure its beauty is preserved for future generations. The message clearly resonated, with one student later telling their teacher about making a conscious effort to turn the tap off and save water. A wonderful example of how small actions can make a big difference.
Looking ahead to Week 9, Parent Teacher Interviews will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday (16 and 17 September) from 4:00–7:00pm. These sessions provide an opportunity for teachers and parents to work together, discussing your child’s academic, social, and emotional progress. We encourage you to come prepared with any questions you may have about the year so far or looking ahead to 2026.
Next week, our Year 3 students will attend ASHEfest to celebrate and participate in a range of Indigenous activities, and we look forward to welcoming families to our next Junior Assembly on Monday 8 September from 9:53am.

Foundation 2026 Taster Day
On Thursday 28 August, we were delighted to welcome enrolled and prospective 2026 Foundation students and families to another exciting Taster Day!
Families joined in the fun, helping the children make crafty lions, they listened to a story read by Mrs Cox, and enjoyed familiarising themselves with our playground! We were also fortunate to have a group of fantastic Year 5 helpers, who spent the morning supporting and engaging with our young visitors.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the day.Foundation 2026 will be here before we know it!
