Market Day

On the 8/8/25 we had a market where we sold fresh leafy greens, herbs and flowers. Our gardening club team worked hard to plant them, and we watered them every day. There

were snapdragons, spring onion, mint, parsley, sage, rosemary and a flower called Fumaria. Our team was  successful and got eight dollars with a kind donation of four dollars, which makes our total twelve dollars. We hope many more people will come to the next market.

Our new space!

We're excited to see our brand-new multi-functional space in action! Designed for both learning and play, this area is perfect for an outdoor classroom and a fun new play zone — a great addition for students and staff alike.

Skipping in PE

Over the past four weeks, students from Foundation to Year 6 have participated in a skipping unit as part of the health and fitness program in PE.

Foundation students were introduced to the fundamental skills and techniques of

skipping, while Year 1 and 2 students built on their existing knowledge to strengthen their skills and coordination.

Students in Years 3 to 6 took on a more collaborative approach by forming groups to plan and perform their skipping routines for their peers.

This unit was a great opportunity to promote teamwork, enhance fitness, and support the ongoing development of skipping skills across all year levels.

Basketball Clinic

From skipping to basketball. This week we have Luke from the Camberwell Dragons at our school showing and teaching students skills during PE lessons.

Annie the Musical

Last week, our Level 3 and 4 students had the exciting opportunity to attend a matinee

performance of ANNIE at the Princess Theatre in Melbourne. For many, it was their very first experience of live theatre and it showed through the excitement and anticipation. The fun, energetic show was the topic of conversation for days afterwards.

Book Week Incursion

As part of Book Week students were entertained with an exciting performance of "TREASURE HUNT" performed by memebers of Perform Education. TREASURE HUNT is an action-packed interactive adventure, written by Craig Christie, and featured a selection of the 2025 Short Listed books. The musical sent students of all ages on a treasure hunt exploring themes of sustainability and our relationship with the natural environment, as well as celebrating how books and reading create understanding and bring people of different backgrounds together. Lots of fun!
