Term 4 Update

As Term 4 unfolds, Science classrooms at Berwick College continue to buzz with curiosity and exploration.

Our year 7 and year 9 students have turned their focus to astronomy, investigating how the interactions between the Earth, Sun and Moon create familiar phenomena such as day and night, the seasons, tides and eclipses. Year 9 students have extended their learning into space exploration, reflecting on humanity’s ongoing quest to understand the universe beyond our planet.

In year 8, students have continued their studies of body systems, deepening their understanding through first-hand investigations and dissections that reveal how organs and systems work together to keep the body functioning.

At the senior level, year 11 students are finalising their topics and coursework, while we have said goodbye to our year 12 students from the classroom laboratories and now cheer them on as they prepare for their final exams.

We wish them all the very best and remind students across all year levels, particularly those in years 10 and 11, to maintain a regular home study routine, seek feedback, and continue strengthening their scientific knowledge and skills as the term progresses.
