Year 9 and 10 STEAM: Full Steam Ahead
This year, the year 9 and 10 STEAM program was in full steam with the launch of two brand new electives in electronics and robotics. Students embraced the chance to explore the exciting world of technology through hands-on projects using VEX Robotics and Arduino-based electronics.
Throughout the year, students designed, built, and programmed their own creations, developing creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork skills along the way. Their enthusiasm and curiosity made each class a joy to teach, and it was wonderful to see their ideas come to life.
One of the highlights of the year was our excursion to Casey Tech School, where students learned how to make a neon light box from scratch.
We are incredibly proud of how far our students have come in such a short time.
Their innovation, persistence and willingness to experiment have made this year’s STEAM journey a huge success. It has truly been a year filled with discovery, creativity, and fun.
