Year 7

Year 7
Welcome to your final term of year 7! The weather is warming up, and we are moving closer to farewelling our year 7 students, for the summer. As we move through Term 4, we are asking teachers to uphold our high expectations within and outside of the classroom. This includes challenging students with their academics, upholding uniform standards as well as routines and expectations. We are also rewarding students who are meeting and moving beyond our expectations with green chronicles. We have recently stocked up on the SWPBS items and encourage students to come and cash in their green chronicles. Well done year 7’s.
Uniform
A reminder to parents that black tracksuit pants are not a part of the uniform and cannot be worn by students. Students may wear navy blue tracksuit pants/shorts or the school-branded trousers/skirts/dresses.
Blue Edge
Over the past three weeks, twenty students have been participating in the Blue Edge program, which is a collaborative initiative run in partnership with Victoria Police. This program aims to strengthen positive relationships with the police, teach leadership skills, build resilience and a sense of community responsibility. Students start with physical activity run by a personal trainer, then we sit and eat together before completing our learning. Well done to all students for your participation.
Champions Corner
Well done to our Year 7 students who participated in debating. Congratulations Arjun, Shachi, Annika, Beth, Jemi and Alicia.
