Grade 2: Miss Wooden

As we approach the end of the school year, it's time to reflect on the incredible journey we've taken together in Grade 2! This year has been filled with exploration, creativity, and numerous discoveries, making our classroom a vibrant place for learning.

Throughout the Term, we delved into various subjects, with science being a standout highlight. From our exciting experiments mixing solids and liquids to exploring the properties of materials and motion, the students have shown incredible curiosity and enthusiasm. One of our most memorable moments was reading 'George's Marvellous Medicine.' The imagination sparked by George's adventures allowed students to express their creativity through fun advertisements for his magical potion. In Mathematics, students came together to collect, analyse, and present their findings through engaging graphs. And of course, the Grade 2 sleepover was fantastic fun!

These are the students' favourite moments of the year:

Heidi: Learning everything together with Miss Wooden.

Buddy: Having Mrs Whipp come and teach.

Indy: Spelling lessons have been my favourite.

Alex: I love having free time.

Kynan: Has enjoyed helping others.

Lottie: Learning new things with Miss Wooden all year.

Madi: Learning with Mon.

Harlow: Getting to see everyone in Grade 2 and Miss Wooden.

Will: I like the rainy days.

Noah: The Grade 2 sleepover.

Matilda: I like school sports days.

Samuel: I liked Mirs Whipp teaching us.

Tom: I like sports days and having brain breaks.

Angus: I have liked making new friends.

Linc: Sport is his favourite!

Thank you for your unwavering support and involvement throughout the year. It has been a pleasure teaching your children, and I'm proud of all their accomplishments.
