Wow what a busy term 3 we had! 

KABOOM percussion, Annie the musical, Trivical Dance and finally the hugely successful SOIREE- A night of musical excellence!

Here’s some amazing footage with our farewell tribute FINALE to Piano teacher PETE PASCOE who has worked with me at HPS for 16 years!! 

Term 4 has some highlights to be excited about too

AUSTRALIAN GIRLS CHOIR will visit for a free workshop info session Oct 15th AGC School Assessment Workshop Flyer 2025

• Year 3 and 4 will have dance sessions with TRIVICAL dance and a parent open day later in the term

• We have piano lessons available again after a long waiting list 

  (Thanks for your patience).

   

• We now offer Brass and Woodwind : Sax Flute Trumpet Trombone Clarinet during school hours (Hire of instruments is all organised by them too)

•  We have a fantastic Incursion  for year F 1 2 3 TAIKO Japanese drumming and Flutes in October!

• The annual choreography competition details have already been sent out to all families

Basically, it is a fun dance competition open to all students but they must make up the dance themselves! We then end up with 3 winning groups who will challenge the other BAYSIDE schools in THE BAYSIDE DANCE OFF 

I will leave some hard copy info at the front office!

The heats will be held during lunchtimes in the hall.

November 21 makeup day for sickness

Final: Our school final will be Friday Nov  28th 1pm quad.

The ‘winners’ will compete against other schools on Dec 5th  

• School carols December 12th 2pm!

Division Athletics!!

Last Thursday, 20 students competed in the Kingston Division Athletics Competition, after advancing through from the Seaside District Competition in Term 3. What a successful day it was, with all competing so well, with 8 athletes advancing through for their events to the Regional Competition, to be held at Casey Fields on October 22nd. A massive congratulations to the following students who advanced:

• Barney S (100m & 200m)
• Jonah G (Long Jump)
• Florence K (200m & 1500m)
• 9/10 Y.O. Girls 4 x 100m Relay (Florence K, Alice D, Josie M, Marlowe M)
• 11 Y.O. Boys 4 x 100m Relay (Barney S, Jonah G, Dexter K, Ellis C)

A big congratulations to all that competed and progressed, and we can't wait to hear of the successes to come at Regionals.
