Forensics 

Our Forensics students have done an amazing job on their Crimes scenes they developed….lots of intrigue and complicated plots to work out ‘who dunnit’.

Last week we were fortunate to have Monica Van Wissen, Forensic Scientist, and Senior Case Manager - Biological Science Group (Major Crime) of the Victoria Police Forensic Services Department visit, give a presentation and Q & A time afterwards…amazing!

STEP Year 8 Coding 

Our Coding students have been working hard on their Chatbot codes, Mazes and Sumo Wrestling Robots!!!

Well done to Georgia and Eloise who were overall champions! 

STEP Anatomy by Dissection

Our Fabulous Dissection students have been investigating all sorts of diverse organisms’ anatomy lately and extracting DNA!

We are all looking forward to their excursion to Melbourne Aquarium next term.  Keep up the great work!

F1 Racing

Massive congratulations to our over all F1 Racing winners, Georgia Leroy and Stella Black (Team – Wombats)!  Our runners up were Jensen Black, Liam Polites and Luka Angjeleski  (Team – Speed Limit 1000).  Jensen Black also took out the award for fastest reaction time – 0.176 seconds.

It was a tough competition but with their combined points from a great reaction time, awesome portfolio and fast car, lead them to victory!

We now look to the F1 State final and the Quantum Victoria state final.  All the best as you prepare for these fabulous competitions.

STEP Robotics 

Our amazing STEP robotics students are gearing up for RoboCup Regional competition in July.  They have been consistently working away to code and build the perfect robot of the competition.  Can’t wait to see how you all go next Term.  Well done everyone!

Year 7 STEP 

Our year 7 Steppers are preparing for their Design a Car competition.  Their car designs have been really inventive.  

We have had a record number of designs submitted at this stage which will set up teams up perfectly as they move into the practice racing part of the program.

Being able to see how their designs perform on the track and having the time to improve their designs before race day is a real plus!
