Middle School

3/4 LP & 3/4 JS

And that's a wrap for Term 2! We have had a very busy end to the term: presenting projects, finishing up book reports, Reconciliation Week, Camp and PJ/Wellbeing day!

IN OUR LEARNING

In Reading students have been working hard on their book reports on The Silver Sword. They completed an in depth summary of the text, character analysis, identified themes that ran throughout the text, along with their own personal reflection and feelings about the text.

In Writing students have been completing their narrative stories and honing their editing skills by rereading their work for spelling and grammatical errors and adding or deleting words to make their stories more interesting to read.

In Maths we finished up our unit on Area and Perimeter and students wrote their own multiple choice questions and collected the data to create graphs as part of our unit on Statistics and Probability.

In Humanities, students presented their projects on the History of the Ancient Olympics. All students did a fantastic job of putting together their presentations and delivering these to the class.

CAMP

What an amazing experience our first visit to The Summit Camp was! Despite the chilly weather, our 3/4 students had an incredible time enjoying activities like the flying fox, giant swing, bush challenge, laser skirmish and the super messy and fun mud run! We are so impressed with the way the students behaved while on camp and the positive mindset they brought along to each and every activity. Well done legends!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Wishing all our students a safe, relaxing and happy break. We look forward to seeing you in Term 3!
