NAIDOC Week

NAIDOC Week at Verney Road School

Next week our school will be celebrating NAIDOC week. This year’s theme for NAIDOC Week is “Keep the fire burning! Blak, loud and strong!”

Groups will be exploring and learning about First Nations people through activities, stories and excursions to local areas of importance. 

The activities will then be followed up with important Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander content in our curriculum early in Term Three.
