As Term 2 comes to a close, we reflect on an action-packed term filled with inter school competitions and individual achievements. Here is a recap of the fantastic sporting events and accomplishments at St Aidan's.
Our Stage 2 and 3 students participated in the SCS Interschool Sport Program. The students thoroughly enjoyed competing against other SCS and they demonstrated excellent teamwork. Their skills and sportsmanship were commendable.
Students in Years 3-6 participated in a Netball Gala Day held at Heffron Netball courts. It was great to see students learning outside the classroom.
At our Athletics Carnival students from all year levels participated with great enthusiasm, competing in various track events. The day was filled with excitement as the students cheered for their houses and gave their best in every event. Congratulations to all the students who will progress through to the next level and to the students in Brigid as winners of the 2024 Athletics Carnival.
We had several students representing St Aidan's at the SCS Cross Country Championships. Their hard work and dedication were evident as they ran the challenging course. We are so proud of their achievements and the way they represented our school with pride and sportsmanship.
Term 2 has been filled with a variety of sports that brought our school community together. We look forward to continuing this momentum into Term 3 and celebrating even more sporting successes. Thank you to all the staff, parents and most importantly the students for making this term a memorable one.
