Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8

As we finish our Term Two of learning and growth, we draw inspiration from the timeless wisdom of the book of Ecclesiastes 3:1-8. God Has created a time for everything. Life is made up of different seasons, each with its own unique purpose and beauty. Everything that happens in this world happens at the time God chooses. "Everything has its own time, and there is a specific time for every activity under heaven" - God's Word. "There's an opportune time to do things, a right time for everything on the earth. Today the Scripture passage has been recorded as a popular song called ‘Turn, Turn, Turn’, with the lyrics of passage as follows, ‘To everything, turn, turn. To every season, turn, turn, turn. To  every person under heaven’. Only one thing remains supreme – the all-knowing and all-loving God. We are totally in these hands. The Scripture reminds us Life is a gift from God.

Prayer

Loving God,

Give us quiet, gentle and receptive spirits,

Enjoying the small precious moments of life these school holidays.

Help us to embrace each season of our lives with faith and gratitude, 

Trusting in Your perfect timing, purpose and great plan.

Grant us wisdom and strength to find joy and meaning in every moment, knowing that You guide our steps. 

May we always seek Your guidance and find peace in Your presence.

Social Justice

Thank you to those who were able to spare some nonperishable items from your pantry to support St. Vincent DePauls Food Pantry. We at St. Mary’s Primary will be able to warm some hearts with nutritious, lifegiving food for those in need in our Echuca Moama community. Our Social justice initiatives are deeply connected to our Catholic faith, reflecting Jesus' teachings of love, compassion, and service to others and we are working towards upholding the dignity and rights of every individual.
