Psalm 107

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;   his love endures forever.

Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story —   those he redeemed from the hand of the foe,

those he gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south.

Psalm 107 is a positive psalm of thanksgiving for the way in which God watches over us and gives us protection. We are reminded of God's absolute goodness and the way in which he watches over us in an unfailing, consistent way, for all eternity. What a wonderful reminder that our good God's love is all enduring! We see that God's love is offered for everyone as the Psalm also references the east and the west, north and the south. This shows the magnitude of God's love for everyone on the Earth. 

God, we continue to thank you for your word in the Psalms. We thank you for the way that you love us, care for us and watch over us with your love forever. We praise you for this great blessing. Amen.
