Assistant Principals' Report

Personal Items at School

This is a general reminder to all families regarding the bringing of personal items to school. We understand that at times students may wish to bring along a toy or item from home to play with at school. On most occasions this works well, however, we ask everyone to please be mindful of a few things.

- All items should be clearly marked with the child's name or initial where possible.

- Please do not bring particularly special or meaningful items to school such as gifts, jewellery etc.

- Unfortunately, the school cannot take responsibility for items that may be lost or broken.

- Toys or items are to remain in the student's bag during learning time.

- A fidget tool is permitted if recommended by a specialist, as long as this does not become a distraction during learning time.

- There is to be no giving or swapping of personal items at school, this includes trading cards such as Pokemon.

If you require any further clarification regarding home items being brought to school, please contact your child's classroom teacher.
