Term 2 Concludes
As Term 2 draws closer to the school holidays and students begin the Semester 2 HeadStart program, it is an appropriate time to focus on Positive Meaning and Purpose. This period allows us to re-establish our College’s Tutor Group Values and expectations, ensuring that both students and staff can move forward together and begin Term 3 in a calm and respectful manner.
Reminder - Conditions of Bus Travel
Many of our students utilise the Marist-Sion Private Buses or Government Buses as they travel to and from the College.
In the interest of student safety, I draw your attention to the Conditions of Travel which form part of each student traveller's Application for Permission to Travel form, which has been signed by our parents and students. Click here to view these Conditions.
I would like to highlight the processes, steps, and actions detailed in the Conditions of Travel in the event of a reported bus incident to the College.
Further information regarding bus travel can be found on the Marist-Sion College website. Please click here to view.
Cyber Safety Events
Keeping children safe online is always something parents and schools need to be mindful of and work together. Navigating this space can be challenging for parents and educators alike. Safe on Socials have two online forums coming up in the coming weeks aimed at empowering parents with information and skills to assist them in educating our young ones around appropriate and responsible use of social media. Please click on the links below.
