Dress Code Policy

This month, the School Council reviewed the Student Dress Code Policy after receiving feedback from the student community regarding proposed changes. The current policy, endorsed at the beginning of last year, was developed through extensive community consultation. After careful consideration of the proposed changes, the Council has decided not to amend the policy before its scheduled review in 2026.

The School Council appreciates seeing students express their individuality through their attire and believes the current policy allows for this while reflecting our community standards, ensuring student safety, and promoting learning readiness.

The School Council emphasises the importance of fair and equitable implementation of the Student Dress Code Policy and has instructed the school leadership team to work with all staff to ensure this is upheld and encourage students to also do their part in maintaining these standard
