INTERSCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY

Interschool Cross Country

On a beautiful Autumn morning, Thursday, May 9th, twenty-five Red Cliffs Secondary College students competed at the Interschool Cross Country Championships, held at the beautiful venue of the Riverside Golf Club.   All students were great ambassadors for Red Cliffs Secondary College; they gave of their best and were very well-behaved.  

Highlights were:  Mia Taylor, who came first, Regan Peters, who came second, Ceanna Smith, who came third, Ashton Gowers, who came fourth, Tommy Smith, who came eighth, Brodie Millhouse and Luka Baudewyns, who came twelfth, and Cameron Johns, who came thirteenth, in their respective age groups.  These eight students qualified to compete in the Loddon Mallee Regional Cross Country Championships, to be held at St. Arnaud on Tuesday, May 28th.

I would like to extend a big thank you to Ms. White and Miss Symes, who helped with supervision and recording, and to Mr. Gilbert who helped with supervision and timing.
