Principal's Welcome

Dear Families, 

It has been great to see so many parents/volunteers assisting in different aspects of school life. Our Parent Association is well and truly in the swing of things, organising many fundraising events to not only raise funds to update our junior playground, but to begin to build strong connections between our parent community, student community and parish community. The students absolutely love seeing their parents and grandparents helping in the canteen, at the sausage sizzle day, wrapping mother’s day presents etc.  At the end of this term they have organised a crazy hair day to take place on Thursday 27th June, in conjunction with our Jump Rope for Heart afternoon.  Some other initiatives that you will see in term 3 is Popcorn Tuesdays throughout the term and another hot food special day.  Thank you to all of our families for supporting our events so far. 

A reminder that this evening we will be holding an online information session for our new out of school hours c providers: OSH club at 7:30pm.  Please submit any questions you have for the school when registering for the information evening. We hope to address as many  questions as possible at the event or in future communications. Last week I contacted Hume council to ask for assistance with traffic flow on South Circular Rd and Burnleigh Drive. Over the next few weeks someone from the council will be out to survey traffic flow and will then make some recommendations on how we can improve this at drop off and in particular pick up time.
