Classroom Learning with  1/2P

1/2P (and the other 1/2 classes) have begun our inquiry unit which will see us investigating the water cycle and our use of water. 

Our first experience has been to model the water cycle by creating our own little microclimates in a ziplock bag. 

As the sun heats the water, student will see condensation form on the bags and over time drops run down the bag modelling rain. 

Over the coming weeks, 1/2 will look at cloud patterns, practice predicting weather and investigate the First Nation season of "Sunny and Dry, Eel, Wombat, Wattle / Orchid, Tadpole, Grass Flowering and Kangaroo Apple".
