Years 3 and 4 have been actively participating in the Sydney Catholic Schools Stage 2 interschool sport program, with this terms focus being Oztag. This wonderful initiative allows our students to engage in friendly competition with peers from other Catholic schools in the Botany - Randwick network. Through these matches, students are not only developing their physical skills and fitness but also learning the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and community spirit. It has been heartwarming to see our students form new friendships and embrace the joy of playing sports together. We are incredibly proud of their enthusiasm and dedication, and we look forward to more exciting sports programs ahead!
We are immensely proud of the twelve boys from Years 5 and 6 who showcased their talent and dedication at the Sydney Catholic Schools Competitive Soccer Gala Day. This event brought together young athletes from various Catholic schools, providing a platform for spirited competition and camaraderie. Our boys demonstrated remarkable teamwork, skill, and sportsmanship throughout the day, representing our school with pride and excellence. Their hard work and passion for soccer were evident in every match, and they thoroughly enjoyed the experience of playing against other skilled teams. Congratulations to all the participants for their outstanding effort and for making our school proud!
Stay happy, healthy and active!
