Kitchen Garden

Students in grade 3/4 J enjoyed cooking up a nutritious vegetarian lasagne in their kitchen garden session last week with Yves & Asha.
Our garden is watered regularly by Asha and our students and is harvested weekly for our recipes.
Vegetarian lasagne ingredients :
zucchinis, carrots, parsley, spinach, garlic, lasagne sheets, tomato paste, cheddar and fetta cheese
This morning students in 3/4 baked a delicious apple and berry lattice pie ( with vanilla ice cream). The kitchen was filled with aromas of apples and cinnamon.
Ingredients: 15 apples, 5 tablespoons lemon juice, 1.5 cups brown sugar, cinnamon, melted butter, puff pastry, 3 eggs.
