STEM- PHYSICAL SCIENCES

Over the last few weeks students in Foundation have been learning about gravity and the senses. They have also been introduced to ‘ScratchJr’ on the ipads where they use drag and drop coding to create an animated scene

Years 1, 2, 3 and 4 investigated non-contact forces such as gravity and learnt about the centre of gravity of an object. 

Years 5 and 6 have been learning about the properties of light and demonstrated refraction by making colours disappear in water. They made shadow puppets based on a children’s story book.
