STEM Day

On Monday the 27th of May the students participated in STEM Day where they were split into 23 groups of all year levels. This allowed a great way for students to connect and collaborate. It was so great to see the middle/senior students guide and assist the junior students.

Students were asked to create a piece of the OLSC City which had to include something that is sustainable. The ideas that they came up with were absolutely fantastic. They were able to use the design process to define, ideate, create a prototype and evaluate their part of the city, to ensure that it included a sustainable aspect.

I would like to thank the OLSC community for bringing in resources for the students to use throughout the day. They were extremely creative in how they used some of the resources. Thank you to the students and staff that made the day such an amazing success! It wouldn't have been possible without the support and engagement from everyone.
