Learning & Innovation

Ms Melissa D'Amico

Assistant Principal (Learning and Innovation)

As we approach the culmination of another vibrant semester, our students are busily engaged in completing their assessments. These critical evaluations are not just a measure of academic performance, but also a vital part of our learning process. We encourage all students to utilise the feedback provided by their teachers. This feedback enables students to identify areas for improvement, refine their skills, and achieve a deeper understanding of their subjects.

This year marks an exciting development in our continuous efforts to enhance communication and support for our secondary school students and their families. With the introduction of AIMS we will provide secondary students with an Assessment Summary Report alongside the end of semester report released towards the end of June. This comprehensive report offers an in-depth overview of your child’s academic progress and their approach to learning throughout the semester.

The Assessment Summary Report is more than just a collection of grades. It serves as a valuable tool that offers insights into your child's performance across all subjects, shedding light on their strengths and areas that may require additional focus.

We believe that this Assessment Summary Report will be an indispensable resource for parents, enabling you to stay informed about your child's educational journey. By working together and staying engaged with the feedback and assessments provided, we can collectively support our students in reaching their full potential.

We look forward to continuing this journey of growth and learning with all of our students and their families.
