Foundation News
Our prep students are excited about almost finished their first term at primary school. They has learned so many new and exciting things in the classroom, such as the phonics sounds SATPIN, writing letters, playing sound and number games, counting and making collections to 10. Students have made many new friends, and spent time getting to know their senior buddies.
On Monday March 24th, we celebrated Harmony Day at school. Harmony Day was a fantastic opportunity for our students to learn about and appreciate the diversity in our classrooms, as well as celebrate inclusion, respect, and understanding in our school. We participated in lots of exciting activities and got to taste different types of food from around the world!
GRADE 1/2 NEWS
The students have been learning about Living and Non-Living Things in Science this term. We have explored the lifecycle of different animals and insects and discussed the different features they have. The students were able to create their own animal or insect and discuss the features they included. It was a lot of fun.
5/6 News:
The Grade 5 and 6 students had an incredible time at Lightning Prem on Friday, March 21. They participated in a variety of sports including Volleyball, Basketball, Cricket, Softball, and Tennis, showcasing their skills and teamwork. Throughout the day, students demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship, always supporting and encouraging one another. Their hard work and collaboration paid off with fantastic results, as many of our teams placed first or second among a number of competing schools. It was an exciting and memorable day for all involved!
