First P&F Meeting
A very big thank you to all those that attended our first meeting for the year, thank you also to Mary and Amanda for joining us. We had a great turnout and we managed to fill volunteer spots for class reps as well as for some of our yearly event calendar.
There are MANY spots available and so we are asking that every family please volunteer for at least one event during the year. The children love all our events so to make them possible we need to all help out in any way we can. One of the reasons many of us choose St Mary’s is because of its wonderful community. Family involvement plays an important role in building our strong community, who knows you might even make a new friend or two!
Keep an eye out in the next newsletter for a SignUpGenius link where you can see the events scheduled and sign up to be a co-ordinator or helper.
WhatsApp Groups
An Operoo was sent out on Tuesday where you can give permission for your contact details to be shared. These details will be used for you to be added to your child’s WhatsApp class group. These groups are set up to share information regarding P&F events, to call out for volunteers and to keep you informed about your class.

Shrove Tuesday - 4 March
On Tuesday 4 March children will participate in cooking pancakes and of course eating them! Please ensure any allergies are up to date on Operoo prior to Tuesday.
We are looking for some extra volunteers to help us on the day:
Set up - 11.15-11.40am
Prep-2 classes - 11.40am-12.15pm
3-4 classes - 12.40-1.15pm
5-6 classes - 12.20-12.35pm and 1.15-1.30pm
Clean up 1.30-2pm
If you can volunteer for one or all of these times please email the P&F.
Prep/1 Event
A big thank you to Emily (Prep) and Paul (1) who have volunteered to organise a catch up for the Prep/1 families.
Uniforms
We have a lot of second hand uniform items in great condition, please email us with what you need and your child’s class and we will send it home with your child. We have had many requests for uniforms which is fantastic.
