We congratulate Janine Panagiotou (Learning Enrichment Upper Primary - Pictured right) on winning a position at Redeemer Lutheran School in Nuriootpa as a Learning Support Coordinator.

Mrs P will be missed here at Good Shepherd, when she starts her new role at the beginning of Term 2.  

Assembly Acknowledgements

Thank you for your feedback recently about improvements that can be made around our school. An area that was recognised was providing more opportunities for students to be seen and praised for their efforts in living the values of our school. As a result, not only will we have acknowledgements from class teachers, acknowledgements will now also be made by members of the school leadership team.

Online Safety

We have had some excellent conversations with families recently about online safety and parental controls at home. The eSafety Commissioner is an excellent resource for information to support families in this space, please visit their website for more detailed information. 

To implement parental controls on personal devices, we recommend grabbing yourself a cuppa and setting aside some time with minimal interruptions (about 30-60mins) to get through it all. 

Stage 2 Playdate - RESCHEDULED

Due to the heat that is forecasted for Saturday 15th March, when the Stage 2 playdate was due to happen, it will be re-scheduled to another time. Please take note of this and stay cool in the heat.

Stage 3 Playdate

Dear Stage 3 Families,

You are all invited to attend a Saturday afternoon catch up to connect with other class families.

Date: Saturday 5th April 2025

Location: Civic Park playground, Modbury Time: 2pm

Along with the playground there is also a grassed area if you would like to bring along footballs, soccer balls etc. Please remember that your children remain under your care for the duration of our gathering.

Coffee and Connect

As always you are invited to join us for Coffee and Connect in the church café on Friday mornings from 8:30am. (Just come through the courtyard.) This is a great opportunity to meet people in our community and make new friends. Stay for 10 minutes or until 10am! It can be comforting and encouraging to hear each other’s stories. Toddlers are welcome! (We have a small playground. You just need to keep an eye on your little one(s) for safety reasons.) I look forward to seeing you soon!
