Learning

and Teaching

Congratulations to all our teachers and students for their dedication and perseverance in embracing new learning through MAGNIFY Sandhurst. It has been a journey of growth, and everyone should feel incredibly proud of their efforts. As we wrap up a busy term, we can all look forward to the holidays as a time to rest, recharge, and refresh.

While it’s important to continue practicing new skills to consolidate learning, the holidays provide a wonderful opportunity to do so in a fun and relaxed way. Reading together as a family, drawing, sketching, or engaging in hands-on activities are great ways to keep learning enjoyable outside the classroom. Most importantly, we hope everyone takes the time to enjoy special moments with family and friends.

Looking Ahead to Term Three

We are excited to continue strengthening student learning with Literacy Intervention groups aligned with MAGNIFY and the MultiLit Program, already embedded in our school’s approach. Parents will soon receive a letter outlining further details.

Intervention sessions will primarily take place in the Performing Arts room (except on Tuesdays) and will be facilitated by Laura and Hailey, with Mrs. Katherine Jamieson and Mrs. Angela Fiske-Kealy overseeing program sequencing and progression testing throughout the term.

For parents whose child has been invited to participate, we encourage you to discuss this opportunity with your child, helping them understand the benefits of strengthening their literacy skills. There will be some work to complete at home, and further details will be provided.

Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to another successful term ahead!
