What a wonderful term of learning we have had!

We have just completed our literacy unit 'Matilda' and are looking forward to watching the movie as our end of term treat. We have just begun reading 'off we go around Australia' by Roland Harvey. We have really enjoyed learning about different areas around Australia, today in particular we were interested in the town of Coober Pedy and how people live underground there. 

In maths we have been working on multiplication and division. It has been great to see so many 'ah ha' moments as we learn about arrays and the connection between multiplication and division. We will continue with this unit of work until the end of the term. 

In religion we have been learning about lent and easter. We have enjoyed making prayers of gratitude in our lessons and adding them to our lent tree on our prayer table. 

We were super proud of the way all students represented out school at Monday's athletics. Well done to all that participated 🙂
