Harmony Day 2025
At Christway College, Harmony Day is not just a day that appears on a calendar rather, it is a day that reminds each one of us about the acceptance, unity, and diversity that is unique to our school community.
On Wednesday, 19th March, our school transformed into a living, breathing tapestry of cultures as students and staff arrived dressed in their traditional clothing, each outfit carrying the history, pride, and identity of their heritage. It was a beautiful sight—colors, fabrics, and traditions from all over the world woven together in one place, a testament to the fact that no matter where we come from, we all belong.
The best part of the day was in the last two hours when we celebrated cultural diversity by playing and dancing.
I had the special privilege of standing there as school captain. I'll never forget how proud I felt looking at all the students coming together, not only to appreciate their culture but also to respect and accept other cultures. These are the kinds of situations that tell us is it or isn’t it to be a family and a school.
Celebrating Harmony Day at Christway college is more than a celebration; it is a commitment. A commitment that whomever you are, and wherever your story starts, you will always have a home here.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated, performed, and embraced the true meaning of Harmony Day. Let’s carry this spirit forward, not just today, but every day.
Because together, we are stronger. Together, we are one!
