Hi, my name is Vithun I’ve changed since the beginning of the year by making it better, also my spelling is improved. Breaking news! Next week it’s harmony day, and we are having cooking in term three and it’s going to be the first time we did camping in 3 years. And it’s swimming in term 4!

Hello! I think you might like to know in art we seem to be doing lots of gold and silver art. In performing arts we are doing bucket drumming. And in PE we are doing bike ed.

Hi I’m Mackenzie and in grade 3 i show the school values like putting my hand up being responsible inclusive sagacious and ethical. In 3c we have class pets names pebbles sonic bluy and hope I have never had class pets before. I like year 3 because we get to bring along our own iPad to yous at school and we do fun activities in the classroom. In 3c we have reading groups and i like the reading groups it is fun.

Look… its the Grade 3 news article. Meet the new JSRC (Junior Student Representative Council)! It feels great to be JSRC. I love being JSRC! My favourite book is the class book ‘Charlotte’s Web’. It’s a sensational and silly book. We love art, science and PE… Wait hang on we are forgetting AUSLAN!!! My favourite subject inside is writing, reading and tech.

Oooh what’s this NAPLAN is coming up for Grade 3, 5, 7 and 9! What do you do if your JSRC? Great question!!! I sometimes have very important meetings like preparing for assembly. Well that's all but we have more coming up soon.

BREAKING NEWS! KIT IS A RISE STUDENT!

Meet the kid who always helps other people. He lead his basketball team to victory and helped a new kid feel welcome in the school. It is Kit R!

I had the pleasure of interviewing him. There was a new kid in his class. He came in late in the month and Kit made him feel welcome. The new kid is Xavier, originally from NSW .

Kit said that he helped him feel good and happy in his new class.

Kit reported that he always helps people and follows the school values. And it’s true! Kit is actually helpful and kind. In fact I’ve seen him do it. He always offers to clean up someone else's mess and does that so well. His friends reported that Kit is always willing to help.

Outside of school news, Kit’s basketball team were 14 points lower than the other team and they needed a breakthrough. Kit scored two lots of 3 points giving his team six points in total. His team were still losing by 8 points. Kit’s points helped motivate the team to score more goals.

They ended up winning for the first time ever!

So there you go. Kit is a RISE student!
