Class 4 News

BRITTANY DIAZ

Hello Families!

This month, our Class 4 students have begun diving into the rich and fascinating world of Norse mythology. We are exploring legendary Norse stories, immersing ourselves in tales of gods, giants, and epic adventures. A key focus so far has been the concept of alliteration, a storytelling technique often used in these ancient myths to create rhythm and emphasis. The students have been having fun crafting their own alliterative phrases, just like the skalds (Norse poets) of old, so make sure to ask your student to share some alliterative phrases with you!  We are also reviewing verb tenses and will be doing some character inferencing and summarising as well throughout these next few weeks.   Such a rich lesson!  Please enjoy these photos of our hideous and gruesome giants, a painting of Niflheim and Muspelheim, and some Main Lesson work.

Have a relaxing weekend!

Blessings,

Brittany
