PTFA Update
Last week, the PTFA were excited to deliver the new swimming caps to our very happy students! The hard work and dedication of the PTFA team last year, with the support of parents and families resulted in this wonderful new addition to the sports faculty and we think they look very smart and will represent our school so well!
On Tuesday 18th March, one of the main tasks the PTFA took on for the evening was preparing and serving a Sausage sizzle for our Open Evening. There was a huge turnout of visitors and it was a very successful evening. We would like to thank the volunteers who came along and helped us to make this evening a huge success! We would also like to acknowledge our student helpers, who represented our School with pride and looked very dashing in their uniforms!
The Open Evening marked the PTFA’s last event for Term 1 after being heavily involved in the Information Evening, the Kinder Picnic, the Junior Sports Carnival, the Senior Sports Carnival and then finally the Open Evening.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has volunteered their time to assist with all of these events. As a PTFA main committee of five, we need your help and we couldn’t have delivered such successful events without you all!
We hope to soon share with the parent community some great things that will benefit the children from the proceeds of these events this term. Please feel free to share your ideas for these funds with a PTFA committee member who are as follows:
- Amy Newton - President
- Damien Craig - Vice President
- David Gittins - Treasurer
- Kirri Nield - School Liaison Officer
- Ang Hales - Secretary
