I was appointed Principal last year and am excited to join the FPS community and meet all students and families. I have been an educator for 20 years, with a passion for health and wellbeing. My previous leadership roles have included time as Principal of Selby Primary School and Kinder, Assistant Principal at Bright P-12 College and Assistant Principal at Elwood College.

My name is Nick England and I am replacing Andrea while she is enjoying some well-earned long service leave with her family. I have been an Assistant Principal for 8 years and I am passionate about state education. In my leisure time I enjoy multi day hiking and barracking for the Richmond Tigers.

Hi Families! I will be teaching in 1/2 B alongside Maelle, who will be teaching French. My Leading Teacher role in the 1/2 cohort involves planning and meeting alongside teachers in the 1 & 2 classes in supporting all students. I am looking forward to a great year!

I have just returned to Melbourne (and FPS) after living in France for 6 months. I am excited to be back and teaching French in both the Foundation classes, alongside Fabienne.

After 13 years overseas, I returned to Australia in 2021 with my husband and cat to pursue a career in education. I look forward to getting to know you all as we embark on a new year of learning.

We welcome Camelia back to FPS. Camelia has returned after 12 months and will continue teaching in the the 5/6 cohort this year with Danielle. Camelia also co-ordinates Naplan and organises camp.

I am looking forward to joining the 5/6 team with Camelia and Guillaume whilst supporting students in French. I moved to Melbourne in 2022 from Canada and have been teaching at FPS since then.

I am originally from France, and moved to Australia in 2004. Outside of work, I spend a lot of time with my family, and in my little spare time, I love practising rock climbing and working on electronic projects. Because I live locally, you might see me around, at the pool or at a skatepark with my family on the weekends. I am looking forward to teaching French, meeting you all and becoming part of the school community.

Bonjour! I graduated at Monash University with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education (Honours), majoring in Theatre and Performance and minoring in Music and Drama. I am a singer, actor and play many different instruments including the guitar, piano and the flute. I am looking forward to another year at Fitzroy P.S.
Administration Officer-Mary
I began volunteering at Fitzroy PS in 2014. I officially returned in 2018 and have been in my current role since then. My interests include going to exhibitions and shows, exploring new cafes and restaurants, visiting the beach on the Mornington peninsula and spending time with my teenage son and cat, Maggie.
Finance Manager-Michelle
We welcome Michelle to FPS, whilst Julian, (Business Manager) is living overseas for 12 months. Michelle has taken on the role of Finance Manager for the past 6 months. She has a teaching and accounting background.
Education Support ( French), Breakfast Club & Kitchen Garden-Yves
Bonjour, my name is Yves. I’m from a little village in the south-east of France. I love sports, travel and food. I’m excited to be back at FPS supporting students in the classroom as well as organising the Breakfast Club & Kitchen Garden Programs.

I am excited to be back again this year supporting students and teachers in all year levels across the school as well as the Kitchen Garden Program. Previously, I have worked at local primary schools with Camp Australia and with sporting clubs. My working days are Monday-Friday.

I have been supporting foundation, grade1 & 2 students at Fitzroy P.S for the past year. Previously, I have worked for the opening nights at the Melbourne French Film Festival Melbourne, assisting foreigners learning English at the Fitzroy Learning Network as well as working as a French teacher assistant for 5th and 6th grade students, North Seattle French School.
Education Support-Hannah
Hannah completed her Teacher Placement at FPS and is currently at Melbourne University studying teaching. She has been supporting teachers and students in the foundation and grade 1 & 2 classrooms, and also speaks French. Her working days are Monday & Thursday.
Education Support-Dursitu
I am looking forward to supporting students and families at Fitzroy P.S this year in all year levels, as well as supporting Oromo speaking families in our school community with Badria. I work Monday, Wednesday & Friday.

I am happy to be returning from living overseas for 12 months with my family. I started at Fitzroy primary school in 2022. I love supporting and working with children in all year levels. I will also be working alongside Badria supporting families at Fitzroy P.S.

We welcome Tib to FPS this year. Tib has worked at various schools for the past 4 years and will be supporting teachers and students in the grade 1 & 2 classrooms. Her interests include reading and yoga.

Harris has joined our ES team at FPS. Previously he has worked at Special Education schools as well as mainstream schools in Victoria and well as Kenya and Bangladesh.
Education Support & Kitchen Garden-Asha
I'm very excited to be working again with the lovely students at FPS and being involved in the Fitzroy community for another year as Education Support, Breakfast Club & Kitchen Garden. My interests are cooking , music, camping with my kids , beach life and arts. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats and a little girl in year 4. (* Asha is on maternity leave for 6 months)
School Community Liaison Officer-Badria
I am the SCLO at Fitzroy Primary School and Collingwood College working on implementing the Victorian African Communities Action Plan (VCAP) supporting families. I organize the weekly parent group and work with the Smith Family supporting families.
