A group of very excited Foundation students boarded the bus on Monday morning, ready to take to the stage and practise their singing, dance moves and actions for the final time before the big night. The students soaked up the new environment and loved experiencing life backstage. We were all ready to go and perform up a storm!

That evening, with a few butterflies in stomachs and dressed up to look like elderly citizens, Foundation students took to the stage for the very first time in front of a live audience!  The atmosphere was electric! Backstage was filled with bright, fun costumes and the buzz of nervous excitement from all the performers. The Foundation performance and song was popular, fun, and energetic — it even had the crowd bopping along! What a fabulous night!

From the bus trip in the morning to the excitement of the performance in the evening, the Whole School Concert was a huge success. We were so fortunate to be led by our amazingly talented Performing Arts teacher, Miss Zoe.

BIG thank you to all our Foundation families for supporting the students to prepare, practise, and be part of such a wonderful evening. There were many tired eyes the following day, but the students were still buzzing as we reflected and shared our memories of the performance!
