2026 Foundation Transition Program 

This week we welcome our 2026 Foundation students for the first of three transition sessions. It's wonderful to see the children arriving some excited and some nervous for their first experience as a student at Team Westbreen. It’s also lovely to see the parents, just like their children, some excited and some nervous lol…

Our current Grade 5 students will be helping our new Foundation students during the transition sessions as they will be their Buddies next year. This is wonderful practice for our grade 5’s who will be leaders of our school community in 2026.

At Family Time this week we are making Greenhouses...

Spring is here and what better time to put our green thumbs to good use and grow our own sprouts in little greenhouses. This week at Family Time, we will be making Window Greenhouses using zip lock bags, tissue paper or cotton wool and seeds! Watch your seeds sprout before your eyes and observe the fascinating process of growth 🌱 All you need to do is make sure your window greenhouse is by your window with plenty of sunlight 🌞 

Don’t miss out on this special activity by joining Atika, Rhoda & Miss Kerry in the library from 3:15-4:15pm 🤩 

Just a couple of friendly reminders - if your child needs to have a snack after school, please eat it outside before joining us in the library.  Also, please remind your children not to jump on Big Bear 🐻

Last week was all about Halloween 🎃 The children showed wonderful creativity making their own Trick or Treat buckets — hopefully, they were able to fill them up on Friday!

Playgroup at Westbreen 💕

With the beautiful weather starting to arrive, come and join us for Playgroup each Thursday morning from 9:00 to 10:30am!
