Year 3 and 4 students have been practising three basic sentences — Tabemasu (I eat XX), Mimasu (I see XX), and Shimasu (I do XX) — using Classkick, where they can record their Japanese speaking. It was wonderful to see everyone trying their best, and many students were even able to self-correct by listening to their own recordings. They are also making a mini Japanese Seasons Book, and their work looks creative and fun to read!

Year 5 and 6 students have been working very hard on their research project about a Japanese city of their choice. Some students have discovered interesting, lesser-known facts that not many people would know about! They are creating their projects on Canva or Google Slides, and they will be presenting to the class next week. I can’t wait to see what they have discovered!
