Juniors

The junior school have continued to enjoy improvising with a number of different drama games. We played a game called Soundscape which proved to be very funny when each child had to create a different sound to emulate a setting.

We were also fortunate enough with some beautiful weather to practise our Christmas Concert routines outdoors. The concert countdown is on!

Seniors

Every year the grade 6 students are challenged to create their own unique christmas concert item. This has evolved in the last few years and has now become a highly creative and interesting task. This year the theme is “Strong and inspirational Women’  which has seen students use the songs of fantastic women artists as the backbone of their christmas item. This involves deconstructing classic songs, moulding them together and re-writing them with a christmas vibe. Needless to say that the students contributions have pushed creative boundaries!

Rewriting the classics!

Evie and Matilda  are busy deconstructing and rewriting the lyrics to a classic Cher song!
